10 Life Lessons from Megnutt
Life is full of lessons, often unintended. Here are 10 I’ve learned from Megnutt that can help you become more aware and find more success in life!
What is Megnutt01?: (10 Things Megnutt taught Me)
Megnutt is a good friend of mine and honestly, I don’t think I would be where I am now without her. Megnutt is really an inspiration and you should all check out her account. She makes many good videos on YouTube and has even inspired me to start making videos myself! If it wasn’t for Megnutte I wouldn’t have gotten into TikTok musically.
Life Lesson #1: Makeup Is For Everyone
Megnutt02 used a photo of herself with an ordinary makeup look and a caption that said, This is me. I’m not wearing any makeup. Or filters. It’s a little contoured because I wanted my freckles to show but that’s it.
Life Lesson #2: Don’t Hide Behind Your Insecurities
Hiding behind our insecurities and imperfections is a habit that’s easy to fall into. For example, you might be thinking I can’t do what I want to do because I don’t have experience or I don’t know enough. And while it may be true that you don’t know enough or you lack certain experience, it doesn’t mean you can’t learn and grow.
Life Lesson #3: Your Best Hair Day Comes When You’re Confident
Sometimes I wake up and my hair looks amazing. It’s bouncy, voluminous, and full of life. On other days it is stringy and lifeless. When I feel confident, my hair does what it wants to do naturally: sit there in a cute bob without frizzing or falling flat on one side because that’s just how I rock my bedhead!
Life Lesson #4: Don’t Look Back in Anger. Look Forward in Joy.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off One of my favorite movies growing up was Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. To me, he was so cool, and fearless, and most importantly he knew how to have fun. My life is different today from when I was a teenager but one thing remains; I still love having fun.
Life Lesson #5: Listen to Your Gut (Instinct)
It’s easy to get caught up in what you think will work and what you should do. There are a thousand reasons to quit. But sometimes that little voice inside, or gut instinct, is right on target. Make sure you listen to your gut and follow it—you may be surprised by how far it takes you!
Life Lesson #6: Don’t Let Anyone Change You. Ever.
Today I want to talk about not letting anyone change you. That’s right, no one. Not your parents, not your friends, not even your boyfriend or girlfriend (if you have one). Nobody should have that much power over who you are as a person. Sure, you might let someone change some things about yourself – like how you dress, or what style of clothing you wear – but overall it is up to YOU to decide who YOU want to be and what YOU want to do with YOUR life.
Life Lesson #7: Own Who You Are, Even If No One Else Does.
Every person has a unique set of values and personality traits. Embrace these qualities. They make you special, even if no one else does! Instead of asking What can I do to be better? focus on positive characteristics about yourself and find ways to accentuate them. #megnutt01 #megnutt02
Life Lessons #8 and 9 Be Honest About Yourself But Also Be There For Others
When you’re honest about who you are, and what you can offer people, your relationships will be authentic. When you know who to trust, and when to let go of those who aren’t good for you or those around you, it’s easier to keep those relationships strong and maintain healthy boundaries. But while it’s important to be real with yourself and others, being a pushover or wallowing in self-pity is just as bad as being dishonest. Neither extreme is beneficial in creating lasting relationships.
Life Lesson #10 You Have To Be Able To Handle The Good And Bad Of Everything That Happens To You.
Don’t let life get you down. There are good and bad things that will happen to you. These are part of life, accept them and move on with your life. Instead of dwelling on negative things that happened to you, celebrate those positive moments in your life as well.
